On Hand Stock
The On Hand page shows a real-time snapshot of everything in your inventory — grouped by item, location, and stock status.
Reading the page
Each row represents a unique combination of item + location + stock status. The columns are:
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Item | Item name and item number |
| Lot / Serial | The lot code or serial number, if tracked |
| Facility | Which site the stock is at |
| Location | The specific bin, shelf, or zone |
| Status | Stock status (Available, Quarantine, etc.) |
| Qty | Quantity in the item’s base unit |
| UOM | Base unit of measure |
Filtering
Use the filter chips at the top to narrow by stock status. The search box matches against item name, item number, and lot code.
KPI cards
Three summary cards appear above the table:
- Total Units On Hand — sum of all quantities across all statuses and locations
- Unique Items — distinct item numbers with any on-hand stock
- Active Locations — number of distinct bin/shelf locations currently holding stock
What “Available” means
Only stock in AVL status counts as available. Quarantined, reserved, or damaged stock is visible in the table but excluded from the Available KPI and from reorder calculations.
Negative stock
Atrope will show negative quantities if a shipment posts before the receipt is recorded (e.g. in a cross-dock scenario). This is intentional — it makes the discrepancy visible rather than hiding it. Resolve by posting the corresponding receipt.
