Requisitions
Coming soon. The Requisitions workflow is not yet available in the current release. Purchase orders can be created directly — see Purchase Orders. Requisition support will be added in an upcoming update.
A requisition (or purchase request) is an internal document raised by a team member to request goods before a formal PO is created. It goes through an approval workflow before procurement converts it into a PO. The information below describes the planned feature.
When to use a requisition
Use requisitions when:
- Team members need to request supplies but don’t have authority to raise POs directly
- You want a two-step process: request → approve → order
If your team raises POs directly without an internal approval step, you can skip requisitions entirely.
Requisition statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Created, not yet submitted |
| Pending Approval | Submitted and waiting for an approver |
| Approved | Approved — ready to convert to a PO |
| Converted | A PO has been raised from this requisition |
| Rejected | Declined by the approver |
